THE VISION

In many cities, and Baltimore is no exception, residents congregate and communicate with a relatively small circle,  largely those who are familiar or share commonalities. Our city’s geography, customs, and years of tradition have hardened the boundaries making it even more difficult to engage and connect with others outside of our normal routine.

In Baltimore, we can’t afford to continue business as usual. We must do better, so we can be better and more unified as a community. We are in a moment where we need to strengthen real engagement around a movement to propel our City forward. This movement needs to encompass the ENTIRE city.

One of the first steps in moving beyond our divides is building relationships with our fellow Baltimoreans so that we can increase fellowship, awareness and empathy.

So we introduce, KINDLING.
